Real Madrid bids farewell to three players simultaneously: Official statement

Real Madrid announced on Saturday in three separate statements the departure of three of its players at the end of the current season.

Real Madrid confirmed on their official website the departure of Marco Asensio after the end of his contract, and the royal club expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the player who defended the slogan of the first football team for 7 seasons.

In a second statement, Real Madrid thanked their striker Marino Diaz and wrote: “Real Madrid expresses its gratitude and affection to Marino, our academy player from 2011 to 2016 and first team player in six seasons in which he won 13 titles: Champions League (2), Club World Cup (3), European Super Cup (2), La Liga (3), Spanish Cup (1) and Spanish Super Cup (2).

Real Madrid also issued a third statement to terminate the contract of Belgian Eden Hazard by mutual agreement.

Real Madrid stated: “Real Madrid and Eden Hazard have reached an agreement whereby the player will be released from the club from 30 June 2023.”

And he continued: “Eden Hazard was part of our club for 4 seasons, during which he won eight titles.”

It concludes: “Real Madrid wishes to express its sympathy to Eden Hazard and wish him and his family all the best in this new phase.”
