Putin and Lukashenko will meet on Friday in the Moscow region

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Friday at Novo-Ogaryovo on the outskirts of Moscow.

In response to a question about whether the two presidents will meet tomorrow, on Friday, Peskov said: “As for preparations for tomorrow’s meeting of the two presidents, Putin and Lukashenko, yes, I can confirm that such a meeting is being prepared.”

Peskov also said that the meeting would take place in Novo-Ogaryovo.

At the beginning of this month, the President of Russia and his Belarusian counterpart had a telephone conversation, during which they agreed to set a meeting date in the near future.
