And “earlier” it was stated that in this area there are mosques of the era of the Righteous Caliph Omar bin Al-Khattab and the Righteous Caliph Osman bin Affan, built of stone, clay and wood, as well as a project to restore buildings and other infrastructure improvements.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s project includes two projects for a cultural arena and the return of water to the old port opposite Bab al-Bunt, as well as a sea taxi project linking historic Jeddah with northern Jeddah across the river, Sabq reported.
