President Vladimir Putin Instructs Russian Security Council to Develop Relations with Neighboring Countries and Allies
President Vladimir Putin instructed members of the Russian Security Council to develop relations with neighboring countries and allies outside the CIS countries.
Today, the Russian Security Council discussed the development of relations with Russia’s neighbors and allies, as well as ensuring the country’s interests in relations with countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Head of the Presidential Cabinet Anton Vaino, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin, as well as the presidential representative on environmental issues, nature reserves and transport Sergei Ivanov.
