President of Donetsk spoke about Ukraine’s unfriendly steps towards Syria since 2018

President of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushlin confirmed that Kyiv began to take unfriendly steps towards Syria since 2018.

“Kyiv took unfriendly steps in 2018 when it refused to extend visas to Syrian diplomats. Therefore, everything is clear here. Nothing surprises anyone here,” Pushlin said.

He stressed that the Donetsk Republic will build “friendly and mutually beneficial relations” with Syria, including in the economic sphere.

Earlier, Syria decided to break off diplomatic relations with Ukraine in response to a similar move by Kyiv.
