The Egyptian Football Association has reached a final agreement with Portugal’s Roy Vitoria to take charge of Egypt’s first team for the next 4 years, replacing national coach Ihab Galal.
According to the Youm7 website, Vitoria is due to arrive in Cairo next week to officially take over the role of the Egyptian national team.
In turn, the Egyptian newspaper Al-Shoruk, citing a source in the Egyptian Football Association, reported that Hazem Imam received the approval of El Gabalia on the terms of the Portuguese coach, including 4 members in the new technical staff, provided that the coach receives 200,000 dollars per month.
The source explained: “The agreement between Hazem Emam and the Portuguese coach was made after the board of directors of the Federation approved the conditions of the coach, and in response to this, Vitoria agreed to take 4 assistants instead of 6.”
The source indicated, according to Al-Shoruk, that “It has been confirmed that Essam El-Hadari has been excluded from the new technical staff.”
