Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had submitted a bill to the Verkhovna Rada on granting Polish citizens a special status.
“President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky today sent to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on granting Poles a special status in Ukraine,” President of Poland Andrzej Duda said, speaking on the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Ukrainian Fascist Genocide of the Citizens of the Republic 79 years ago.
“Today, this can be seen as a different attitude than 79 years ago, when they tried to get rid of the Poles at any cost,” he added.
