Polish official spoke about the negative consequences of sanctions against Russia

In an interview with the Rzeczpospolita newspaper, Mikhail Dvorchik, head of the Polish government’s staff, said that Poland is beginning to feel the negative consequences of sanctions against Russia.

The Polish official added: “We feel the consequences of these sanctions, because these sanctions, it must be clear here, hit Russia on the one hand, and this is the only way to stop the aggressor, but on the other hand, these sanctions were felt by all the countries participating in them, including Poland.

Dvorczyk indicated that sanctions against Russia would affect Poland’s budget. “This budget will not be easy,” he said. He noted that the bill on the state budget will be the main topic of the cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

It is noteworthy that since the beginning of the events in Ukraine, the EU countries have imposed various sanctions against Russia, within 7 packages, in order to completely paralyze the Russian economy.
