Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik has officially returned to the Italian football league by signing with Juventus on loan from French side Marseille until the end of the season with an option to sign him permanently.
Juventus said in a statement: “The black and white team has been strengthened, especially the black and white attack line. Arkadiusz Milik joined Marseille on loan and is now a Juventus player.
On Thursday, Milik arrived in Turin to complete his move to Juventus, according to photos released by the Italian club and the media.
“Milik has arrived in Turin,” Juventus wrote on their Twitter account, accompanied by photos of the Polish striker returning to Italy, where he played from summer 2016 to January 2021, but in the colors of opponents Napoli, before run over. first to Marseille for rent, and then permanently.

Italian media have reported that Juventus and Marseille have reached an agreement for the Turin giant to get Milik on a one-season loan for one million euros, with the possibility of a permanent contract with the 28-year-old for €7 million.
Milik played a major role during his first run in the Italian league despite two serious knee injuries and six months away from Napoli as he scored 38 goals in 93 games played in Serie A.
Napoli decided to ditch him in favor of Marseille after refusing to renew his contract with the southern side amid talk of his desire to join Juventus in particular.
The Pole appeared last season at Marseille, scoring 20 goals in all competitions, but suffered a strained relationship with former Argentinean Mediterranean club coach Jorge Sampaoli.
The departure of Sampaoli and the arrival of Croatian Igor Tudor were not enough to convince Milik to continue his career at Marseille, even after the latter signed a high-profile player in Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez.
Milik’s arrival in Turin to support Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic indicates that a deal with Barcelona’s Dutchman Memphis Depay fell through due to the player’s personal demands, Italian media reported.
Milik will replace Spanish striker Alvaro Morata, who has returned to his Atlético Madrid team after two seasons on loan at Juventus.
