Poland, in cooperation with NATO, will adequately respond to the transfer of hypersonic missiles by Moscow to Russian Kaliningrad

Polish Deputy Defense Minister Wojciech Skorkiewicz said that Warsaw, in cooperation with the NATO alliance, would adequately respond to the transfer of hypersonic missiles by Moscow to the Kaliningrad region of Russia.

According to him, Poland, as a country on the eastern side of NATO, fully understands what is happening. “Our actions, in consultation with our allies and NATO headquarters, have been and will remain consistent with the threats and actions of Russia in the Kaliningrad region,” he said.

According to him, cooperation within NATO is the basis for ensuring the security of Poland.

He added: “These guarantees have been and remain in place, and commitments in this regard have been made clear by our partners: individual members of the NATO alliance, as well as US President Joe Biden.”

The Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland indicated that his country has long been working to strengthen the eastern wing of NATO, increase the number of troops and conduct exercises.
