Poland has signed contracts for the purchase of weapons for 1.5 billion dollars

The Polish news agency reported that the Ministry of Defense signed contracts for the purchase of weapons worth about 7 billion złoty (about $1.5 billion) in two days.

“Deputy Prime Minister, head of the Ministry of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak signed on Tuesday in Kielce agreements on additional supplies of equipment and weapons to the Polish army in the amount of about 3 billion zlotys (about $634 million),” the ministry said in a statement.

It turned out that on Monday contracts for a similar amount were signed by the Polish Arms Group and Stalowa Wola.

And she continued: “In two days, the Polish state invested almost 7 billion zlotys in the arms industry.”
