Peskov denied reports that Putin will hold an emergency meeting in the Kremlin at night

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russian President Vladimir Putin did not hold any emergency meetings at the Kremlin last night.

Asked if Putin’s overnight return to the Kremlin was connected to any emergency meeting, Peskov replied: “No. This is not how the rumors go. Everything is fine”.

Earlier media reported that Putin’s motorcade urgently headed to the Kremlin last night at 23:00 Moscow time amid possible hypotheses of an emergency meeting.
