Pentagon: We have provided more than $20 billion in military assistance to Ukraine and will continue

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said Washington has provided more than $20 billion in military aid to Kyiv.

This happened with reference to the Russian TASS agency, where he expressed “Washington’s intention to continue to support Kyiv for as long as possible.”

Former CIA analyst Fred Fleitz said Kyiv needed to agree to talks with Moscow in order to continue receiving aid from Washington.

Russia has already sent a memorandum to “NATO” countries over arms shipments to Ukraine, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has indicated that any arms shipment to Ukraine would be a legitimate target for Russia. The Russian Foreign Ministry also stated that “countries (NATO) are playing with fire by supplying weapons to Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov pointed out that the supply of weapons to Ukraine from the West does not contribute to the success of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and will have a negative impact.
