Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is expected to attend the final 24-hour ceremony.

After the final ceremony, the funeral procession will pass through the streets of Santos and pass by the home of Pele’s mother, Doña Celeste, who recently turned 100 years old.

Pelé, the only player to have won three world titles, passed away last Thursday at the age of 82 after suffering from colon cancer for over a year and has been in hospital since November last year.
