The Istanbul Grain Export Initiative Coordinating Center said four ships loaded with corn, wheat and sunflower seeds left Ukrainian ports on Saturday through a humanitarian corridor opened by the Russian fleet.

“On December 17, four ships left Ukrainian ports carrying 115.7 thousand tons of grain and other food products as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative,” the center said in a statement.

Two ships “Falcon C” with 19,000 tons of sunflower seeds and “Kerem” with 29,000 tons of wheat are heading to Turkey.

The ship “Nimfi” will deliver 25.7 thousand tons of corn to Tunisia, and the ship “Gulmar” – 42 thousand tons of corn to Spain.

The center stated that “as of December 17, the total volume of exports of grain and other agricultural products from three Ukrainian ports amounted to 14,138,997 tons, while currently 1,121 ships are allowed to move, 561 ships headed to Ukrainian ports and 560 left them . “
