One goal separates Mohamed Salah from a historic achievement in the English Premier League.

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah will be looking forward to a historic achievement when his Liverpool side face Southampton tomorrow, Saturday, in the English Premier League.

The Reds winger is set to make his 100th Premier League appearance for Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday and has already scored 99 goals in a similar number of appearances.

Salah has scored 70 goals and made 29 extra goals in a Liverpool shirt at Anfield in the English Premier League, and he could now become the second player in the competition’s history to score 100 goals in his first 100 matches on home soil.

He is behind Thierry Henry, the former Arsenal player who scored 85 goals and provided 28 assists in his first 100 league games for Arsenal at Highbury.

Salah has scored 170 goals and provided 68 assists in 274 games in all competitions for Liverpool so far since his move from Roma in 2017.
