A source in the press service of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service said that President Vladimir Putin will talk via video link with the heads of law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies of the CIS countries.

The source pointed out that “on September 30, Moscow will host the 18th meeting of the meeting of the heads of security agencies and special services of the CIS countries. The event will be attended by delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and, of course, the Russian Federation.”

The source added: “As part of the work of the advisory body, a meeting of the President of Russia with the heads of specialized law enforcement agencies is planned via video link.”

This information was confirmed by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. “Yes, the meeting is scheduled for Thursday,” Peskov said.

A day later, that is, on Friday, a meeting of heads of security and intelligence services of the CIS countries will be held in Moscow.
