Oil prices rise.. and a barrel of US crude oil rises in price to $90

Oil prices rose during trading on Monday, with US oil heading towards $90 a barrel after oil prices fell to their lowest level in months last week.

By 10:17 Moscow time, futures for US West Texas Intermediate oil rose 1.10% to $89.99 per barrel.

Meanwhile, Brent futures rose 1.09% to $95.95 a barrel, according to Bloomberg.

Today’s rise comes after data showed China’s crude oil imports surged last month from their lowest level in four years in light of the easing of Corona virus-related restrictions.
