Oil Exports Volume in February Revealed by Iraqi Oil Ministry

The Iraqi Oil Ministry announced total oil exports and revenues for February, according to final statistics released by SOMO, an Iraqi oil marketing company.

In a statement, the ministry said the volume of crude oil exports exceeded 92 million barrels and revenue exceeded $7 billion.

Statistics showed that the total amount of crude oil exported in February from oil fields in central and southern Iraq exceeded 89 million barrels, while the amount of oil exported from Kirkuk through the port of Ceyhan exceeded 2 million barrels.

According to statistics, the average price per barrel reached $76,556, and exported oil was shipped by 35 international companies, from the ports of Basra, Khor ez-Zubair and monobuoys, in the Persian Gulf and the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
