Özil reached an agreement with Basaksehir, who finished fourth in the Turkish league last season, hours after Fenerbahce’s contract was terminated.
And the Spanish newspaper AS reported that the former Real Madrid star had signed a one-year contract with Basaksehir, with the possibility of an automatic renewal for another season.
Fenerbahce decided to terminate the contract with Mesut Ozil, as he completely dropped out of the coaching accounts, knowing that he spent a year and a half in the Turkish team, and played 37 games in various tournaments, during which he scored 9 goals.
