officially.. "France Football" The list of nominees for the Ballon d’Or has been announced.

The French magazine France Football announced on Friday the names of the nominees for the Ballon d’Or award, which is awarded annually to the best football player in the world.

The final list included 30 players, namely:

5- Robert Lewandowski (Bayern v Barcelona)

9- Phil Foden (Manchester City)

10. Sadio Mane (Liverpool v Bayern)

11- Thibault Courtois (Real Madrid)

12- Rafael Liao (Milan)

13- Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

14- Christopher Nkunko (Leipzig)

15- Joshua Kimmich (Bayern)

16- Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City)

17. Heung-min Son (Tottenham Hotspur)

And the French magazine decided not to associate the World Cup competitions with this year’s Ballon d’Or, as voting depends on performance during the football season from August 2021 to July 2022, and not a calendar year, as it was from January to July 2022. December of the same year.

This year’s Ballon d’Or winner will be announced on 17 October in Paris.

Argentinian Lionel Messi, Paris Saint-Germain striker, won the 2021 award for the seventh time in his career (a record) but missed out on this year’s final list as a result of his declining level following his last move from Barcelona to Saint-Germain summer.
