Al Ain Club announced today, Wednesday, the signing of a contract with Ukrainian player Andriy Yarmolenko from West Ham on a free transfer basis.
Yarmolenko’s contract with West Ham expired at the end of last season by July, and he had the right to freely sign any team.
In the official statement of the Al-Ain club, a contract with the Ukrainian player was announced for the season, until the summer of 2023.
Yarmolenko, 32, became the first Ukrainian player to play for Al Ain, coached by compatriot Sergiy Rebrov, and led him to a league title last season after missing the podium in all competitions since 2018.
