Official.. Tottenham announce completion of sixth year contract

Tottenham have officially announced their contract with Middlesbrough’s Jed Spence, which runs until 2027, so the team will continue their important support during the current summer transfer period.

And Tottenham have reached a final agreement to include 21-year-old Spence from the ranks of Middlesbrough for the next 5 seasons.

The club said in a statement: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Middlesbrough’s Jed Spence. The right-back has signed a contract until 2027.”

Spence began his youth career at Fulham before moving to Middlesbrough at the age of 17 in July 2018.

He joined the Borough Under 23s before joining their first team, for the first time in the pro league against Charlton.

In December 2019, before scoring his first professional goal 19 days later against Huddersfield Town shortly thereafter, he was named Young Player of the Month.

He joined Nottingham Forest on a one-season loan in 2021-2002 and had a very successful period, making 46 appearances and scoring three goals as he played a key role in helping the club reach the Premier League.

At international level, Jade was named to the England under-21 squad for the first time in March 2022, with his first appearance against Albania and his last call-up in May 2022.

Judd Spence’s transfer deal was the sixth in the current summer transfer season, behind Ivan Perisic, Yves Bisoma and Richarlison, as well as Clement Longlet and Fraser Foster.
