Al-Soma left Al-Ahly’s camp in Turkey last Friday to join his new team after Al-Ahly agreed to move them to a one-season-only loan system.
The Al-Ahly administration extended the Syrian player’s contract until 2024, but opted to loan him out after the team was relegated to the first division, especially given his high salary.
