official moroccan renaissance zumamra signs hashem mastour

Rabat: After a year from football, Moroccan player Hachim Mastour returned to the field after signing with Renaissance Club Athletic Zemamra in Morocco’s second division. This was a move that the player’s fans did not expect.
The attacking midfielder used to be on track for a successful football career. Still, after a few challenging years, he fell out of sight. After signing with the Italian club Reggina in October 2019, Mastour’s contract ended peacefully two years later, in 2021.

Many football fans now hope that Mastour’s career will get back on track at Club Athletic Zemamra after he spent a year away from the sport after his failed stint at Reggina.

Others, on the other hand, were disappointed that Mastour chose to join a local club in the second division when he had so many offers from top international clubs.

“There I am! “I’m ready,” the 24-year-old farmer wrote on Twitter on June 9 as he got ready to return to work.

The Moroccan club officially signed on Twitter yesterday, saying, “Moroccan international Hachim Mastour, who used to play for Italian clubs AC Milan and Reggina and Spanish club Malaga, has joined our team, Renaissance Athletic Zemamra.

“We wish you success,” the Moroccan soccer team said.
