Spanish striker Alvaro Morata announced on Thursday that he would leave Juventus at the end of his last two-year loan, knowing he was bound by an official contract with Atlético Madrid until June 30, 2023.

“I have always defended the colors of this jersey with all my might and I will always be a Juventus fan,” Morata, 29, said via his Instagram account, without specifying his future destination.

In turn, Juventus confirmed the end of Morata’s career with him, saying: “The adventures of Alvaro Morata are over. His last and perfect goal, which he scored against Lazio (2-2) on May 16, during his last appearance in a Juventus shirt. will remain.”

Morata also played for Juventus from 2014 to 2016.

In the ranks of the “old woman” Morata twice won the Italian championship in 2015 and 2016, as well as three times the Italian Cup in 2015, 2016 and 2021.

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea striker returned to Juventus in September 2020 on a two-season loan.
