Manchester United announced on Tuesday the signing of Dutch defender Tyrrell Malasia from Dutch club Feyenoord.
A statement on Manchester United’s official website said: “The club is delighted to announce that Terrell Malasia has joined the club, signing a contract until June 2026 with an option to extend for another year.”

He added: “The Dutch full-back has played 136 games for Feyenoord and has represented his country at all levels, from under-16s to first team, and has played five international matches.”

For his part, Malasia said: “Joining Manchester United is a great feeling. This is a new chapter in my career as I will be playing in a new league with new teammates and under a great coach.”
He added: “I know Ten Hag’s abilities and what he asks the players for when he plays against the teams he coached in the Eredivisie.”
He concluded, “I know that I am still young and will continue to develop. I promise the Manchester United fans to give everything I have on the pitch every time I wear the red shirt and I will always be grateful to Feyenoord for what they have given me and my family.”
