Handball club Barcelona have announced the departure of Egyptian international Ali Zein after agreeing not to renew his contract a year after joining Sharjah, UAE.
The left-back left Barcelona after a successful season, during which Ali Zein achieved a historic five this season, winning the local Super Cup, Copa del Rey, Spanish League, Super Cup of Catalunya and the European Champions League.
Ali Zein has scored 60 goals in 30 Spanish league matches for Barcelona and 12 goals in 17 matches in the Champions League.

In their official statement, Barcelona wished the Egyptian pharaoh all the best in his upcoming sporting career.
Notably, a few weeks ago, Zein agreed with Romanian club Dinamo Bucharest to complete the Champions League with Barcelona before joining his new team.
