North Korea rejects the initiative of its southern neighbor, calling it"the height of stupidity"

Kim Yo-jong, the younger sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, said on Friday that her country would never accept the South Korean government’s bold initiative, calling it the height of stupidity.

“I don’t know what big ideas the South will knock on the door in the future, but I’m making it clear that we will never deal with them,” said Kim, deputy chairman of the ruling Workers’ Party’s Central Committee. The Korea Party, according to a statement released by the official newspaper of the Workers’ Party, Rodong Sinmun.

She criticized the bold initiative, describing it as a version of Vision 3000 for denuclearization and openness pursued by Lee Myung-bak’s former conservative South Korean government that ended in failure.

“I don’t know if Seoul knows that the assumption that North Korea might take steps towards denuclearization is wrong,” she added.

She pointed out that the idea of ​​exchanging economic cooperation for the country’s honor in the form of nuclear weapons is Yoon Seok-yeol’s (current president of South Korea) dream and hope, and therefore “I felt that Yoon was really naive and still childish.” .”

“Those bastards who threaten the safe environment of the country by continuing to dump dirty waste on our lands, talk about food supply and medical assistance to the northerners, whipping up the hatred and anger of our people,” she continued.

In a speech marking the 77th anniversary of Korea’s independence from Japanese colonial rule, South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol on Monday unveiled a “bold initiative” to improve North Korea’s economy if it takes steps towards denuclearization.
