Netanyahu urges far-right parties to unite in elections

Israeli opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu called on far-right parties to unite after the latter announced they would run in independent elections amid maneuvering between the factions to form their own electoral forces.

In the video, Netanyahu addressed the far-right Religious Zionist and Otzma Yehudit parties, saying: “Hold the elections together, we can’t risk it,” noting that “only a joint race guarantees that the two parties will surely win the minimum number of votes.” .”

Netanyahu has previously pushed for political mergers involving far-right parties to avoid “wasting” votes from right-wing factions that failed to enter the Knesset, including an alliance between Religious Zionism and Otzma Yehudit ahead of last year’s elections.
