Nebenzya: Kyiv is leading the world to a Chernobyl-style nuclear disaster

Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stressed that Kyiv’s attacks on nuclear facilities are pushing the world towards a radiation catastrophe similar to Chernobyl.

“Kyiv’s criminal attacks on nuclear infrastructure facilities are pushing the world to the brink of a nuclear catastrophe comparable in scale to Chernobyl,” Nebenzya said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

He referred to the repeated bombardments of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by Kyiv forces in recent days.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the regime of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky committed a new act in the category of nuclear terrorism by bombing the infrastructure facilities of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

Russia’s ambassador to the US, Anatoly Antonov, confirmed that Kyiv forces were putting the whole of Europe in “serious danger” by bombing the Zaporozhye railway station.
