NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that all NATO member countries agree that Ukraine should become a member of this organization.
Stoltenberg added in an interview published today, Thursday, by Der Spiegel magazine, when asked what he expects from the NATO summit in July: “I cannot predict the decisions of the heads of state and government of the alliance members, but one thing is clear: everyone NATO countries agree that Ukraine should become a member of the alliance.
“They already reaffirmed this at last year’s summit and reaffirmed it in December,” continued the Secretary General.
“However, now the most urgent task is to help Kyiv in the military conflict,” Stoltenberg said.
It is noteworthy that the next NATO summit will be held in July in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius.
