Joel Montalbano, head of the American program of the International Space Station, said that the agency (NASA) keeps all its employees in Russia.
He told a press conference on Monday that the retention of American employees in Russia is taking place “despite the US State Department’s recommendations to Americans to leave Russian territory.”
“We keep all personnel in Moscow, in Star City, and we have personnel in the Mission Control Center … We do not disclose their number, but now we have a full staff,” he said.
