Napoli appoints Rudi Garcia as their new coach.

Napoli, champions of the Italian football league, announced on Thursday the appointment of Frenchman Rudy Garcia as their new coach.

Napoli announced on their social media accounts: “Rudi Garcia has been chosen as the new Napoli manager! Welcome Rudy!

Garcia, 59, a former Roma manager, will replace Luciano Spalletti, who stepped down after leading the southern club to the Italian title for the first time in 33 years.

In April last year, Garcia was suspended from the training of the Saudi club Al-Nasr, which is played by the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.
