Russia’s representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, told a UN Security Council meeting that Western sponsors had pulled Kyiv out of negotiations on a settlement with Moscow.
He added that Western countries also began to “compete with each other to convince themselves and the whole world that the solution can only be found on the battlefield with Russia.”
Earlier, the Kremlin said that after the visit of European leaders to Kyiv, the Ukrainian side made no attempts to resume negotiations with Russia.
