Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov emphasized that the optimal solution to the energy crisis in Europe is not difficult, since it is enough to press the start button to start pumping Russian gas through Nord Stream 2 to Europe.
The Russian ambassador denied accusations against Russia that it created the economic crisis in European countries, noting that such statements are “pure hypocrisy.”
“Wouldn’t it be better to give away some of the money and resources that went to the poorest countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia?” – he asked.
