The Russian Foreign Ministry announced Moscow’s condemnation and refusal of extremists to burn the Holy Quran in Stockholm under the pretext of freedom of speech and called for action against extremists.

“We condemn and reject such criminal acts and call for action against extremists,” Gennady Askoldovich, special representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry for cooperation in respect of the right to freedom of religion, said in a statement.
