Morocco team will play with Georgia before the start of the World Cup in Qatar

The Moroccan Football Association announced today, Thursday, that its first national team will face its Georgian counterpart before the start of the World Cup final in Qatar.

“As part of the preparation of the Qatar national team for the 2022 World Cup, the national team is playing a friendly match against Georgia in the United Arab Emirates,” the Moroccan federation said in a statement posted on its website.

He added: “The match will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2022 starting at 8 pm local time (5 pm Moroccan time), after which the national team will travel to Qatar to continue their preparations for the World Cup. .”

The Moroccan team played two friendlies last September in preparation for the World Cup in Qatar starting on November 20, where it beat Chile in the first leg with two clean sheets and drew against Paraguay with no goals.

The draw for the 2022 World Cup final placed Morocco in Group F along with Croatia, Belgium and Canada.
