Moroccan Nayef Akrd, the French defender at Rennes, is close to promotion to the English Premier League next season.
And Fabrizio Romano, European transfer expert, wrote that “West Ham are ready to announce the signing of Nayef Akrad in the coming hours.”
“The player also signed contracts last Saturday, the medical examination was completed and the club’s statement will be released shortly,” he added on his Twitter account.

Romano concluded: “Rennes will receive a fee of £30m plus variables.”
The Moroccan defender made 40 appearances for Rennes last season, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists.
Naif Akrad represented Morocco in 19 matches and scored one goal.
The Moroccan defender knows how to play in the center of defense and on the left flank.
