The French magazine France Football announced today, Friday, the names of the nominees for the Yashin Award for the best goalkeeper in the world for the 2021-2022 season.
Moroccan Yassin Bunu, the Spanish goalkeeper of Sevilla, was at the forefront of contenders for the award.

The list of nominees also includes Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibault Courtois and Slovenian Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid).

Also competing for the award are the Brazilians Ederson (Manchester City) and Alisson Becker (Liverpool), in addition to the French Hugo Lloris (Tottenham) and Mike Mainan (Milan), the Senegalese Edward Mendy (Chelsea), the Germans Kevin Trap. (Frankfurt) and Manuel Neuer (Bavaria Munich).
The French magazine will announce the winner during a ceremony on October 17 in Paris.
And it was the Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma, the goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain, who received the award in 2021.
