Mohamed Salah has been nominated for the UK Sports Influencer Award.

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, a Liverpool player, has been nominated as the best sports influencer in British society in 2022 at the British Ethnicity Awards.

On Tuesday, the organization announced the shortlist for the award, which included Mohamed Salah, along with Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, British runners Mohamed Farah and Alex Yee, and British runner Dina Asher. The award is awarded by audience vote and the awards ceremony will take place on October 27th.

Salah signed a long-term contract with the Reds a few weeks ago to decide to continue with the team he joined in 2017.

Mohamed Salah has been honored with several individual awards throughout 2022, most notably PFL England Player of the Year, Critics Association of England Premier League Player of the Year, Liverpool FC Player of the Year.

Salah won the Golden Boot with 23 goals and the industry’s best playmaker with 13 goals in Premier League competition last season and crowned Liverpool with the FA Cup and League Cup titles.
