Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that Ukraine continues to try to convince the West to supply it with modern weapons, but Western countries have not yet decided on the supply of modern tanks and aircraft to Ukraine.
Reznikov said in an interview with Ukrainian television on Friday that “there are preliminary decisions that have not yet been made. They concern modern tanks and aircraft. We continue to discuss this issue with partners and convince them that this is also necessary.” .”
“A political decision on the transfer of modern tanks and aircraft to us has not yet been made,” he added.
At the same time, he noted that on other issues, including training programs for Ukrainian military personnel, “many good decisions” were made.
Reznikov added that the capabilities of the Ukrainian fleet will also be strengthened, and the Ukrainian forces will receive more rocket launchers.
