Militants attacked a military post in the Zargun district of the Pakistani province of Balochistan, killing three soldiers and one of the attackers.
The attack, launched by the terrorist group in the early hours of the morning, targeted a newly established site “to help stop extortion attempts targeting coal mines in the area,” Dawn said.
The report stated that the security forces “reacted quickly to the shooting and repelled terrorist attacks”, and the army located the alleged terrorist hideout and launched an operation to eliminate them.
Previously, 10 people were killed in clashes between demonstrators and police in Pakistan, and another 1,750 were injured.
