Military expert: American armored car Stryker will not revolutionize the battles in Ukraine

Russian military expert Vladislav Churgin said that Kyiv’s acquisition of American Stryker armored personnel carriers would not give it military superiority on the fronts.

And a military expert pointed out in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper that Politico reported that the Pentagon is exploring the possibility of supplying a group of new Stryker armored personnel carriers to Kyiv as part of an American package of military assistance to Ukraine.

According to him, what’s new about these armored personnel carriers is that they are digital.

“The Stryker vectors are valuable when they are connected to an automated control system,” he says.

In all other cases, he adds, it is an ordinary war camel, and it is weak against all anti-tank and armored weapons. For this reason, the receipt of these carriers by Kyiv will not lead to revolutionary changes on the line of contact.

According to him, the United States is supplying Ukraine with new weapons, but in small quantities.

He says: “You have to be trained in the use of modern armored personnel carriers, i.e. logically, the US should have first trained company or battalion crews, and tested them in combat, and then extended the use of new equipment to the brigade level.”
