michael browns stepfather urged mob to burn this b down after family put out peaceful statement

A video from the New York Times shows that Michael Brown’s stepfather comforted the dead teen’s upset mother after Monday’s controversial grand jury announcement. He then turned to the crowd of protesters and said, “Burn this mother—-er down” and “Burn this bitch down.”

Louis Head, Brown’s stepfather, said these things just before angry protests broke out in Ferguson, Missouri, over the decision not to charge police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown in August.
Monday night, a row of businesses on West Florissant Avenue, a major street in the St. Louis suburb, caught fire. Fireballs were made out of police cars and cars at a nearby car lot. There were so many fires going on that firefighters couldn’t put them all out.
