Mexican police announced the death of 13 armed members of a group that attacked a police task force in the central state of San Luis Potosí on Friday.
Police also confirmed the arrest of two more people involved in the attack.
Authorities launched a security operation in the state’s district district after arresting two women who confessed to taking part in the secret burial of bodies and told police the location of the cemeteries.
During the investigation, a police group was attacked by militants, as a result of the clash, 10 men and 3 women of the attackers were killed.
During the operation, the police confiscated 27 weapons and 6 cars belonging to the gang members, one of which had American numbers.
