Egypt and Algeria signed a memorandum of understanding to develop cooperation in the field of mining and oil and gas services on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), held today in Cairo.
The Algerian Ministry of Energy and Mines said on Facebook that Algerian Energy and Mining Ministers Mohamed Arkab and Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla, on the sidelines of the meeting, reviewed “the state of bilateral cooperation in the field of energy and mining and discussed the possibilities for their development.”
And they laid down a “road map” to identify real projects to be implemented by the companies of the two countries in the field of marketing of hydrocarbons, especially liquefied petroleum gas, oil and manufacturing, especially petrochemicals, mining, oil and gas services, research, engineering and hydrogen “.
She said that the meeting approved the signing of a memorandum of understanding on the development of cooperation in these areas.
