Meeting between Putin and Xi Jinping at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on September 15-16.

Russian Ambassador to China Andrey Denisov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Samarkand on September 15-16.

“Exactly in less than 10 days, our leaders will meet again at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Samarkand, and we are actively preparing for this,” the ambassador said.

He added: “I don’t want to say that the online summits are not completed, but at the same time, direct contact between the leaders is a slightly different discussion. One way or another, there will be plenary sessions and various meetings, like the Full Meeting of our leaders with a detailed work schedule, and we are now, in fact, working on this with our Chinese partners.”

The summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held on September 15-16 in Samarkand (Uzbekistan).
