Media: Former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff heads the bank "Brix"

O Estado de S. Paulo announces that former President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff will lead the New Development Bank, created by the BRICS group of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

The newspaper notes that Brazil’s partners welcomed the decision to appoint Rousseff as president of the bank.

She confirmed that Rousseff will accompany Lulu da Silva during his visit to China in the second half of March next year.

The new development bank was established in accordance with the intergovernmental agreement signed at the sixth BRICS summit in the Brazilian city of Fortaleza in July 2014.
