The British channel Sky News, citing sources in the military sphere, said that the Ministry of Defense was faced with a chronic problem of pilot training, which would take several years to resolve.

The sources said that “Two and a half years ago, Secretary of Defense Ben Wallace instructed the Air Force to improve the situation in the field of pilot training by increasing the number of instructors as a priority, but there was no tangible progress in this direction. within the specified period of time.

She added that “the spread of British military aviation to different regions of the world has reduced the ability of the country’s air force to train recruits due to the use of qualified pilots in current operations.”

She noted “the negative impact of last year’s seven-month cruise of the International Carrier Strike Group (AUG) led by the Royal Navy’s Queen Elizabeth Wing.

“In connection with the AUG action, training courses for military cadets have been postponed for several months,” she explained.
